AAUW Pasadena Branch will be sending Tech Trek Campers in 2025!
The campers will be going to Whittier College and UC San Diego during June for one week to live on campus in dorms.
We will soon begin the process of selecting campers who are recommended by their middle school science teachers and interviewed by AAUW Pasadena Branch for the final camper selection.

Tech Trek is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) camp designed to develop interest, excitement, and self-confidence in young women who will enter eighth grade in the fall. It features hands-on classroom work, projects and activities in STEM-related fields. In the residential camps, all sleeping, eating, instructional and recreational facilities are located on a university campus where camps are held.

AAUW Pasadena has been sending 7th grade girls from Pasadena Unified School District, El Monte Schools and Arcadia Schools for over 25 years. AAUW Pasadena works with the science teachers to select and interview candidates. Our branch raises the funds required to send several girls to this wonderful experience.
