Everyone had a lot of fun (in spite of the rain)!
Thanks to all the presenters who dragged out their robots, strawberries, DNA beads, fluorescent lights, spectrum lights, coding demos, nano tech examples, car tire physics (and a car!), climate scenarios, magnets, center of gravity paper cup challenge, slime ingredients and more. Our terrific presenters were from the PCC faculty in Electronics, Chemistry, Astronomy, Automotive Tech. Community organizations joined in from Kaiser, City of Hope, Huntington Medical Research Institutes, YWCA Glendale and Pasadena, JPL, Carnegie Observatories, Giant Magellan Telescope, and Educate for Tomorrow. PCC student STEM clubs participated from the she.codes club, Data Science club and Chemistry club. And of course we couldn’t have done it without the many volunteers helping out with set-up and chaperoning girls that day!
