STEM Savvy 2025 Photos

Everyone had a lot of fun in the new Sarafian Science Building!

Thanks to all the presenters who dragged out their robots, trait beads, fluorescent lights, spectrum lights, coding demos, nano tech examples, magnets, center of gravity challenge, slime ingredients, architecture concepts and more. Our terrific presenters were from the PCC faculty in Electronics, Chemistry, Geology, Physiology, and Physics. Community organizations joined in from Kaiser, City of Hope, Huntington Medical Research Institutes, YWCA Glendale and Pasadena, JPL, Carnegie Observatories, Falkon Robotics, and National Organization of Minority Architects. PCC student STEM clubs participated from the Society of Women Engineers, Data Science club and Chemistry club. And of course we couldn’t have done it without the many volunteers helping out with set-up and chaperoning girls that day!
