Membership Categories

Membership is open to anyone holding an associate or equivalent, baccalaureate, or higher degree from a qualified educational institution. We value and seek a diversified membership.  There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.

Regular Branch Membership

Pasadena Branch Membership offers friendship with like-minded people and an arena for making a positive contribution in the community. As a Pasadena Branch member you are also a member of AAUW national, AAUW California and our Pasadena Branch. Complete the New Member form and follow instructions to mail to the branch or contact us with the New Member Inquiry Form.

Student Memberships

We also welcome full-time college students to become Pasadena Branch members.

• Student Affiliate – as an undergraduate student you become a Pasadena Branch member at a greatly reduced membership fee.
• Graduate Student – as a graduate student enrolled in an advanced degree program, your membership fee is greatly reduced until until completion of your degree.
• FREE E-Student Affiliate – as an undergraduate student attending an AAUW college/university partner school, your AAUW National membership fee is waived until graduation. Caltech, Pasadena City College, and California State University of Los Angeles are some of our nearby AAUW College/University Membership Partners. Most of the California UCs and CSUs partner schools. Enroll in AAUW National E-Student Affiliate here. (To encourage local students to participate in our Pasadena Branch you need only pay a small fee for our Pasadena Branch membership. Simply complete the New Member Inquiry Form here and indicate you want to join as an E-Student Affiliate. We will respond with instructions.)

Members at Large

Some members belong to national AAUW only, with no branch affiliation. This is a membership category for those who want to support AAUW’s goals but don’t want to take advantage of the benefits of branch membership. Enroll in AAUW National Membership here.
